Adobe Fireworks CS5 Tutorial: Creating a Logo Banner

A company "logo" banner image is commonly found on the home page of most websites. When creating a website for a company, it is easiest to scan the organization's logo from their brochures or promotional material and then save the scanned logo image as a gif or jpg file. If there are no brochures or other materials available, a graphic application such as Adobe Fireworks can be used to create a banner.

This tutorial will guide you in creating a company logo banner. Begin by launching Fireworks.

When you want to learn more about Fireworks, try out the Fireworks Support Center option found under "Help" on the top menu main tool bar or consider taking a course on graphics. When you are ready, continue with the tutorial.
